Pro Thyroid assists in both the production of thyroid hormones and the conversion of inactive T4 hormones into the active T3 hormone. It contains nutrients and herbs that help prevent and reverse thyroid insufficiency including tyrosine, iodine, and the botanical herbs Coleus forskohlii and Bacopa monnieri.
Tyrosine and iodine are the building blocks of thyroid hormones T3 and T4. Zinc helps support the conversion of T4 to T3, while selenium can help decrease anti-TPO antibodies in those with Hashimoto’s disease.
