Estro-Mend
Estro-Mend™ is a soy-free blend of herbs used in Herbal Medicine that helps ease nervous tension, while relieving pain associated with menstruation and symptoms associated with menopause.
A complex interaction of hormones regulates menstruation. Imbalances of hormones, including estrogen, can result in menstrual pain and premenstrual symptoms, which often include changes in mood, energy, attention, appetite, sleep, physical comfort (breast tenderness, bloating) and quality of life. Phytoestrogens, including black cohosh, mimic the functions of estrogens without proliferative actions, and help relieve menstrual pain and premenstrual symptoms.
Significantly less estrogen is produced in the period before menopause. Hormonal fluctuations during this time can result in common menopausal symptoms, including hot flushes and vaginal dryness. Phytoestrogens also support and minimize the changes and symptoms that are sometimes experienced during menopause. Studies have found that black cohosh helps relieve menopausal symptoms, such as hot flushes, excessive sweating, insomnia and vaginal atrophy. As menopause may result in sleep disruption, Estro-Mend™ also contains hops, which can relieve nervousness and aid sleep.

Suggested Usage: Adults: Take 1 capsule 2 times daily with meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Use for a minimum of 4 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 6 months.
Cautions: Do not use this product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have diarrhoea, haemorrhagic diseases, hypermenorrhoea, a seizure disorder, or an allergy to members of the Apiacease/Umbelliferae family. Do not use this product if you currently have or previously had breast cancer or you have a predisposition to breast cancer as indicated by an abnormal mammogram or biopsy, or a family member with breast cancer. Ensure you are up-to-date on appointed clinical tests such as mammographs, endometrial ultrasounds or biopsies prior to use. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or if you develop symptoms of liver trouble, have depression or related diseases, a family history of cancer or a history of hormonal or gynecological disease, or are taking blood thinners, birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy. Consult your healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Stop use and consult your healthcare practitioner if menstruation is delayed or absent, you experience increased menstrual bleeding time, breast pain, discomfort, soreness or tenderness, or abnormal uterine bleeding including spotting or recurrence of menstruation in postmenopausal women. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Some people may experience drowsiness or digestive problems. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy
