Medicinal ingredients:
1 g (37 drops) contains:
Echinacea 1X 0.1 g
Veratrum album 3X 0.1 g
Strychnos nux-vomica (Nux vomica) 4X 0.08 g
Bryonia Ø 0.08 g
Cephaelis ipecacuanha (Ipecacuanha) 4X 0.08 g
Aconitum napellus 3X 0.08 g
Atropa belladonna 4X 0.08 g
Arnica montana 3X 0.08 g
Cinchona pubescens (China) 3X 0.08 g
Secale cornutum 4X 0.08 g
Hydrargyrum bichloratum (Mercuric chloride) 8X 0.08 g
Rhus toxicodendron (Toxicodendron quercifolium) 4X 0.08 g
Non-medicinal ingredients:
Alcohol, purified water. Contains 53% (V/V) alcohol
Dosage:
Adults, children ≥ 12 years (acute): 10-15 drops up to 10 times daily / (chronic): 10-20 drops 3 times daily;
Children 6-11 years (acute): 7-10 drops up to 10 times daily / (chronic): 7-13 drops 3 times daily.
The drops should be taken diluted in some water.
Side effects:
The intake may increase the flow of saliva. If this occurs, stop this
medicinal product. In isolated cases, hypersensitivity may occur. In rare cases, allergic reactions against mercury may occur.
Interactions:
No known interactions with other drugs.
Medicinal products containing purple coneflower (Echinacea) preparations have been associated with skin rash and itching, and rarely
with swelling of the face, breathlessness, dizziness, and a drop in blood pressure. If this occurs, stop this medicinal product and see your healthcare practitioner. In rare cases, intake of chinin-containing products may cause hypersensitivities like skin reactions and fever.
Contraindications/Cautions:
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients or to quinine, poison-ivy plants or composite plants. It should not be used by
patients with progressive systemic diseases such as: tuberculosis, leukemia or leukemia-like diseases, inflammatory diseases of the
connective tissue (collagenosis), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV-infection and other chronic viral diseases. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use in children under 6 years.
